Raudo is local-first: it runs on your PC, needs no account, and doesn't track you. Here's the plain-language rundown of what we process and what we don't.
Last updated: 2026
In short
Raudo is an IPTV player for Windows that runs on your own computer. You bring your own playlist (an M3U/M3U8 URL or file, or your Xtream Codes details); Raudo includes no channels or content.
- You don't need to create an account or sign in to use Raudo.
- We collect no telemetry or analytics, and we show no ads.
- We include no third-party trackers.
- Your playlist and your credentials are stored on your PC only.
What data we process
By default, Raudo collects no personal data and sends none to our servers. In fact, we run no account servers: there's no profile, no email, and no identifier that links us to you.
The only data you handle inside the app is what you enter to play your list (for example, your M3U URL, or the host, username and password for Xtream Codes) and your usage preferences: favorites, folders, guide reminders, your “continue watching” history and settings. All of it stays on your device.
Local storage
Your configuration, your playlists and your preferences are saved on your own machine, inside the app's data folder in your Windows profile.
Sensitive credentials, such as your Xtream Codes username and password, are encrypted at rest using Windows Data Protection (DPAPI), so they're tied to your Windows user account. We never receive or store those credentials.
If you uninstall Raudo or delete the data folder, that information is gone from your machine.
Updates
Raudo is downloaded from GitHub Releases and automatically checks GitHub for a new version. When there's an update, it's downloaded from there.
As with any download or web request, GitHub (as the download provider) may log basic technical connection data, such as your IP address, the app version or your operating system. That processing is governed by GitHub's privacy policy, not by Raudo.
Payments
Raudo is free today. An optional premium plan (with a trial period) is planned for later, and payment would be handled through an external payment provider, for example Lemon Squeezy.
In that case, your payment data (such as your card details) would be handled directly with that provider, under their own privacy policy. Raudo would not see or store your card numbers; at most we'd receive a confirmation that your license is active.
Telemetry and error reports
Raudo currently sends no telemetry and no crash reports automatically.
If we ever add anonymous analytics or error reporting, it will always be optional and off by default (opt-in): you decide whether to turn it on, and you can turn it off whenever you like.
Your rights
Because Raudo collects no personal data by default, in practice we hold no information about you to access, correct or delete.
If you live in the European Union or the European Economic Area, the GDPR grants you rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction and portability over your personal data. If we ever process your data (for example, when you contact us or subscribe to the premium plan), you can exercise those rights by getting in touch with us.
Because Raudo collects no personal data by default, we carry out no processing of your data. If we ever process any, we'll identify the controller here. In any case, you may lodge a complaint with your data protection authority (in Spain, the AEPD).
Contact
